To help provide timely service to our patients, we prefer to schedule all visits. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment time, please call us promptly so we may reschedule your appointment. Late arrivals are sometimes unavoidable. We will offer options in these situations, including: seeing you as an unscheduled appointment (may involve a wait), leaving your pet with us so you don’t have to wait, or rescheduling your appointment for a time that is convenient for you. We want to ensure that each patient receives our doctors’ complete and undivided attention, we never want to rush due to inappropriate scheduling.

Due to unforeseen emergencies or cases that are unexpectedly complex, we occasionally run late. We make every effort to avoid this, but ask for your patience during these times. We will keep you informed so you have the option to reschedule or leave your pet with us if an excessive wait is inevitable.

We make every effort to schedule appointments for sick and injured pets on the day you call us. Please call our office ahead of time so we can minimize your wait. All emergencies and urgent care appointments will be triaged by a C.V.T. or veterinarian. If a life-threatening illness is found, this patient will be seen before all other patients. If the emergency/urgent care patient is stable, they will then be worked into our schedule around regularly scheduled appointments.

When you make your appointment, please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about your pet so we can schedule additional time for your visit. If you are coming in for an annual exam or diarrhea, please bring a fresh stool sample with you. If your pet is coming with a problem with urination or urinalysis, please do not let them urinate prior to the appointment. If you have lab work scheduled, please make sure to find out if your pet must be fasted and when the test should be performed.
