We prefer to schedule all visits, as a courtesy to all our clients and our staff. We want to ensure that each patient receives their doctors’ complete and undivided attention. We never want to rush due to inappropriate scheduling.

  • When you make your appointment, please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about your pet so we can schedule additional time for your visit.
  • Come prepared:
    • Let us know who to contact to obtain all medical records for your your pet. Having this info prior to the appointment helps everyone’s day go more smoothly, and will reduce wait times to see the doctors.
    • Bring photos of all the medications, preventions, supplements, and food you are using for your pet.
    • Annual exam: bring a fresh stool sample

If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment time, please call us promptly so we may reschedule your appointment.

  • Late arrivals are sometimes unavoidable. We will offer options in these situations, including: seeing you as an unscheduled appointment (may involve a wait), leaving your pet with us so you don’t have to wait, or rescheduling your appointment for a time that is convenient for you.
  • Due to unforeseen emergencies or complex cases, we occasionally run late. We make every effort to avoid this, but ask for your patience during these times. We will keep you informed so you have the option to reschedule or leave your pet with us if an excessive wait is inevitable.
  • We make every effort to schedule appointments for sick and injured pets on the day you call us. Please call our office ahead of time so we can minimize your wait.
  • All emergencies will be triaged by a V.T. or veterinarian. If a life-threatening illness is found, this patient will be seen before all other patients. If the emergency/urgent care patient is stable, they will be worked into our schedule around regularly scheduled appointments.
