We have on-site capabilities to test for, and diagnose, a wide variety of issues. Often times, working up a case (gathering all the necessary information) includes a variety of diagnostic tests, which provide different information, so our doctors can make appropriate recommendations.

Laboratory Capabilities:
- Hematology
- Machines and tools to evaluate red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets, and proteins in the blood
- Blood Chemistry
- Machines and tools to evaluate internal organ function, and electrolyte derangements
- Urinalysis
- Urine is a huge component of evaluating overall health and function.
- Helps assess kidney function, toxin excretion, hydration, and many other key factors when considering appropriate treatments for your pet.
- Microscopy
- Microscopes are incredibly useful in diagnosing and treating your pet appropriately.
- Small samples can be taken from ears, skin, masses, urine, blood, hair, and more. These samples can be put onto a microscope slide, dried, stained, and evaluated in house to diagnose infection, parasites, auto-immune disease, cancer, and more.
