Dr. Morgan Burger

Dr. Morgan Burger attended Mississippi State University majoring in Microbiology and graduated from the Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. After graduation she moved to New Orleans, La and worked at a busy 9 doctor practice. She joined the faculty of Tulane University in 2005 and worked in a high intensity/volume surgical facility and published several peer reviewed articles during that time. She then returned to a small animal practice. She enjoys surgery, internal medicine, ultrasound, cardiology and oncology.

She moved to Golden in December of 2016 to purchase Francis Veterinary Hospital. She moved with her husband, Chris and daughters Marley and Micah. They share their home with a boxer named Icee and a poodle named NayNay.

Beth, CVT

Beth was born and raised in Golden, Colorado. After receiving her Certification in Veterinary Technology in 1989 from Bel-Rae Institute, she worked at Colorado Veterinary Laboratory. She then went into working with small animal practice. She has been practicing in Golden/ Lakewood area for 27 years. She lives with 3 dogs, 2 cats and many chickens.

Corrine, CVT

Corine was born and raised in Colorado. I grew up with the parents’ title of dog whisperer, as she brought home every stray. She began work in shelters as a kennel technician at age 16. She went to Bel- Rae and acquired an associates in Veterinary Technology and received her CVT license in 2014. She also have interests in surgery and dentistry and love hiking all over CO and CA with her 2 cattle dogs and an interest in photography, art and creative writing.


Mitch came to Colorado a year ago from California, where she worked at a dog boarding facility for six years as a groomer and kennel technician. She has two dogs, Meeks and Sweetie, and a cat, Margarita, and loves anything to do with animals.

Kelly was born and raised in the bay area of California. She moved to Colorado almost 3 years ago. She started working with animals when she was 15 years old as a veterinary assistant. She has 1 cat named DC and 2 bearded dragons, Doyle and Ninja. She hopes to make every visit that you make to our hospital wonderful.


Keonia was born and raised in Washington, DC and spent the last 4 years working as a veterinary technician in Maryland. She moved to Colorado a few months ago with her fiancé and their 2 cats, Free & Luna. Her hobbies include hiking, reading, and gardening.
